What is embroidery?
Logo embroidery is a process of stitching a logo or design onto a piece of fabric using specialized embroidery machines. This type of embroidery is often used to customize clothing items such as hats, polo shirts, jackets, and bags with a company or organization's logo. Logo embroidery can be done in a variety of thread colors and can be used to create intricate designs with a high level of detail. It is a popular way for businesses and organizations to promote their brand and create a professional, polished look for their employees or members.
What is the difference between embroidery and screenprinting?
Logo embroidery and screen printing are two popular methods of customizing clothing items with a company or organization's logo. While both techniques have their advantages, embroidery tends to last longer than screen printing.
The primary reason for this is that embroidery involves stitching the design onto the fabric using thread, while screen printing involves applying ink to the surface of the fabric. As a result, embroidery designs are more durable and resistant to wear and tear over time.
Embroidery designs also tend to maintain their color and vibrancy better than screen printing. The thread used in embroidery is typically made from high-quality materials that are designed to withstand repeated washing and exposure to sunlight. In contrast, the ink used in screen printing can fade or crack over time, especially with frequent washing or exposure to the elements. Making it ideal for the Australian climate.
